1/6/12 Trail Report

Central Square - Parish - The warm weather really put a hurting on what little snow was on the ground. wet, soggy and muddy. Square Valley trails are all still closed till we get more snow with the exception of Happy Valley.

Redfield - Groomers were out last night on the northern Redfield Sno-Rec trails still not enough snow to groom the southern Sno-Rec trails. Fair to Poor conditions with minimal snow coverage.

Boylston - Montague - Little John drive to Salmon River rd, Fair conditions with some gravel turned up and bare spots along the way. Trails should be in poor conditions by Saturday.

I would suggest saving your money and staying home this weekend. Trails had minimal snow before the warm up today and warm temperature's tomorrow should leave the trails close to un-rideable.

1/4/12 Trail Report

Redfield - The fluffy 16 inches of lake effect in redfield has all settled. 6-8 inches on the trails low snow coverage. Redfield Sno-Rec Club has not started grooming yet.

Parish - The Square Valley Trailblazer groomers were out panning the trail last night. Many of the water holes on C5 power line trail from Central Square to Parish have froze up with help from the sub-zero temps overnight still poor riding conditions with 4-6 inches 4 being farther south 6 being closer to in and around Parish and the Grist Mill (click on the link to check out there live cam)

Hopefully the trails don't take to much of a beating from the warm weather this weekend as of now they are freezing up nice and with some more snow should shape up real nice.
